What is Campus Campaign?
Since 1985, Ohio State faculty and staff have shown our commitment to this great university by generously donating more than $118 million through participation in Campus Campaign. Making gifts in support of what we believe in at Ohio State enables us to provide outstanding opportunities for groundbreaking research, scholarship support, innovative programs, exciting cultural and athletic events, and exceptional services for others. In turn, all of us in the Ohio State family enjoy the benefits of making a true impact on people's lives.
Why is Campus Campaign so important?
Gifts from faculty and staff provide funding for important initiatives on all of Ohio State's campuses, and are an endorsement of the university, announcing to alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations that Ohio State is an institution worthy of support and that support starts at "home."
What difference could my small gift make?
No matter the amount, your gift is important. Many program funds receive a significant portion of their revenue through "small" gifts.
How will my gift be used?
It's your choice! You can designate your gift to the college, department, program, scholarship, or other initiative that you believe in. You can designate as many funds as you would like.
How do I find more information about funds?

How much of my gift will actually go to the fund(s) of my choice?
100 percent of your gift will go to the fund you choose.
How can I find out what I gave to last year?
The gifts and pledges made through Campus Campaign 2007 (using the Campus Campaign website or gift forms) are printed on your pledge form. Contact the Campus Campaign office at either ccampaign@osu.edu or (614) 292-3065 if you have any questions.
When can I make my gift?
The active phase of Campus Campaign, which involves peer-to-peer solicitations among faculty and staff within each college and administrative unit, takes place from February 1 through April 30. However, Campus Campaign is a year-round effort and gifts may be given at any time.
How do I make my gift?
You have four options:
1) Fill out the gift form included with your Campus Campaign brochure
2) Visit campuscampaign.osu.edu to make a secure gift online
3) Visit campuscampaign.osu.edu to download and print a gift form
4) Visit OneSource, the Medical Center's Intranet, for more information about Campus Campaign if you are Medical Center staff or faculty.
What are my payment options?
You have four options:
1) Payroll deduction - Your gift will be automatically deducted from your pay each pay period beginning July 1, 2008 and continue until further notice.
a. Deductions are a minimum of $1 per pay period and are collected at least 12 times per year for those paid on a monthly basis and 26 times per year for those paid on a bi-weekly basis.
b. One-time payroll deductions cannot be processed. Please make all one-time gifts by cash, check, or credit card.

3) Check payable to The Ohio State University Foundation
4) Credit card (minimum of $5).

In order to ensure your gift is secure and credited properly, you are strongly encouraged not to send cash gifts through campus mail.

My payroll deduction is continuous until further notice-do I need to do anything?
We encourage you to visit the website or review your gift form to verify that the deductions accurately reflect your gift intentions and that your contact information is correct. If no changes are needed, you do not need to do anything.
Can my gift qualify me for Presidents Club?
Yes. If your gift or gifts annually total at least $2,500, you will be recognized by this prestigious donor recognition society. For more information on Presidents Club recognition, courtesies, and benefits, call 292-9550.
My supervisor wants to see the completed gift forms. What do I do?
Gift forms should be returned directly to the Campus Campaign office for processing. Beginning the first week of March, Coordinators will receive weekly reports with the list of donors from their area. These lists may be shared, however they will not include where or how much has been given or pledged by the donors.
