Some Frequently Asked Questions about Class Gift:

Why are students asked to make a gift to the University?

What would Ohio State be like without all the previous Class Gifts, including Orton Hall Chimes, the Long Walk, and Mirror Lake? Each Class Gift enables a graduating class to leave a lasting legacy of their time at the university and support future students on campus by improving the quality of the Ohio State experience for future Buckeyes.

What is the Class Gift this year?
The 2007-2008 Class Gift will be The Ohio State University seal in the Great Hall of the new Ohio Union. The 16-foot seal will be created through waterjet technology using stainless steel and precast terrazzo and will be embedded in the floor, serving as a focal point of the new state-of-the-art facility.

Where will my gift go?
Your gift will go where you want it to go! You can either give to the 2007-2008 Class Gift or you can designate your gift to any project or fund on campus.

What if I want to mail my gift in? Where do I send it?

What happens after I make my gift?
