Will President's Club donors have access to Bowl Game tickets?
While the opportunity to apply for bowl game tickets is not a guaranteed privilege associated with President’s Club recognition, we are pleased that the Athletics Ticket Office has agreed to offer this courtesy to our donors. Information will be e-mailed to President's Club members who ordered 2009 regular season football tickets.

If demand for bowl game tickets exceeds supply, applications will be prioritized using the President's Club and Buckeye Club Priority Points System.

PLEASE NOTE: Individuals who purchase University, Buckeye Club, or Alumni Association bowl tours may not be eligible for additional tickets through the President’s Club/Buckeye Club allotment. If you are accepted into a University-sponsored tour or alumni tour, your President’s Club/Buckeye Club ticket application may be denied depending on the demand for tickets. All orders will be cross-checked to ensure that duplicate orders are not awarded, should that be the case.

Does submitting a ticket application guarantee that I will receive tickets?
No. If the demand for bowl game tickets exceeds supply, tickets will be allocated to President's Club donors according to the Priority Points System.

What is the timing for the ticket application process?
Ticket applications and payments must be submitted online through your Ohio State Buckeye Account. The Athletics Ticket Office will e-mail ticket application information to season ticket holders by the end of the week of November 16, 2009, and the application process will begin on Tuesday, November 24, 2009. The ordering deadline will be Monday, December 7, 2009, at 5 p.m. All eligible members will be provided with maximum ticket eligibility details in the application information from the ticket office. All eligible members are encouraged to apply early, to avoid potential last-minute problems or delays. Late applications will not be accepted.

How will ticket applications be prioritized?
Ticket applications will be prioritized using the same Priority Points System that is used to determine seating priority in Ohio Stadium during the regular season. Priority Points are calculated using the formula below:

4% of gifts received between 1/1/2008 and 12/31/2008 (current giving)
2% of gifts received prior to 1/1/2008 (cumulative giving)
1% for irrevocable deferred giving
0.5% for revocable deferred giving

How many points will it take to qualify for tickets?
For high-demand bowl games, it is typically anticipated that point totals exceeding 1,000 would be necessary to receive tickets. In the most recent years, approximately 1,100 points were required, which equated to lifetime giving of $55,000. Should use of the Priority Points System be necessary this year, the exact number of points needed will not be determined until the application process begins.

To what address will the tickets be sent?
Tickets for successful applicants will be sent via overnight delivery to the address currently on file with the Athletics Ticket Office. If you are at a different address, notify the Athletics Ticket Office immediately.

What other options are available to me outside the university?
Traditionally, a variety of independent travel agents and tour providers offer packages to follow our Buckeyes to a bowl game. While the President’s Club cannot endorse any particular provider, we encourage fans to research all tour agents, packages, and opportunities thoroughly, prior to making a reservation or purchase. (Please report any suspicious ticket or tour activities to the Better Business Bureau to help to protect your fellow Buckeye fans.)
