The Department of Horticulture and Crop Science is Ohio’s hub for plant science research, teaching, extension, and outreach. As agriculture faces the challenges of feeding a growing world population and providing the United States with domestic sources of fuel and petroleum-based products, the Department of Horticulture and Crop Science provides plant-based solutions for nutritious foods, quality habitat, and biobased products.
